Spend your summer holiday in Castelrotto: the Niglutsch farm is the ideal starting point

All year long traditional markets take place here. In the central square of Castelrotto every Thursday there is the grocers market and every Friday the farmer market. Festivities, such as the Kastelruther Kirchtag in June, the big town fest in August and the fireworks of Jesus Christ’s Heart in June, when the South Tyrolean people swear to their national hero Andreas Hofer are examples of these summer events, as well as the big Open Air Festival and the Spatzenfest in October with the Kastelruther Spatzen. Castelrotto is also the meeting point of  Kastelruther Spatzen fans, this band actually organizes a lot of concerts all over the year.
